Even today NBA Jam is super fun and playing with an outdated roster adds to the enjoyment. Coincidently EA Sports is developing a new NBA Jam title for the Wii. When I heard this I was both excited and disappointed. I own a Wii so getting this game wont be a problem but at the same time I think i’d rather play it on my Xbox 360 over Live and I have some friends who don’t have a Wii and wish they could download it over the PS3 Network. Before even seeing any screenshots, reading previews or watching any videos the title already lost some points for not releasing it on other platforms. I’m hoping theirs enough demand that they eventually port it to the other major systems and maybe even the Nintendo DS.

In the last week they’ve released the trailer and it looks like they’ve tried to stick to the original formula; simple controls, two on two, all out basketball war! Have a look for yourself;
