Capcom will begin releasing their arcade classics on the Wii Virtual Console. The first release is SonSon, a game that came from the Chinese fable Journey to the West. This was originally released in 1984 in arcades. Don't act like you remember that. This version supports two-player action and is set to release this summer for 800 Wii Points. This is the first of many. Capcom plans to follow SonSon with "regular additions of its classic titles to the Virtual Console Arcade." Siliconera spotted GameFly listings for PS3 and Xbox 360 games called "Star Raiders" and "Centipede." Centipede, of course, is one of the most well-known early arcade games, featuring a trackball-controlled avatar firing lasers at on-screen centipedes and mushrooms. Star Raiders isn't as well known.
