This is another one of those shooters that not many knew of it but it's quite good. The game is simple and somehow reminds me of Super R-Type for the SNES. The game contains your challenging levels, upgrades when you kill the right monster, and not sure if it does have but it would be nice for it to have some insane boss fights. Patriotism may not be my favorite thing ever, but I do love a good revolution. That's a big part of why I love the videogame industry. In television, movies and music, truly revolutionary moments are few and far between. In videogames, they hit every couple of years, if not sooner. No artistic medium that I know of has evolved this far, this quickly. Knowing that videogames are in a perpetual growth spurt makes scouring for gaming news every morning a daily exercise in excitement. This is almost a Captain Obvious post, but hey, I'll take any excuse to talk about Ape Escape 4 that I can get. Not seeing the game at E3 10 was easily one of my biggest disappointments of the show. Sony still seems resistant to doing anything with their PS1-era franchises, probably out of a desire to keep up their self-perceived "cutting edge" image. You'd think they look at all the money Nintendo's making off their +10-year-old franchises and get the hint; nostalgia sells.
